Los Angeles [US], October 26: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta offered a glimpse into her journey as a mother on Saturday.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Preity shared her efforts to juggle her professional life with her responsibilities as a mom.
"Walking towards the weekend. The last two weeks have been particularly challenging as Gene was away for work, and I was managing all the mommy duties, which included waking the kids, preparing them for school, packing their lunch boxes, dropping them off and picking them up, making dinner, and finally putting them to bed," she wrote.
She also included adorable photos with her children, Jai and Gia.
"I was so excited about our time together because I wanted to maximize my moments with the kids before heading off to another shoot. While this time has been incredibly rewarding and filled with love, it has also been quite stressful," she added.
Preity expressed her appreciation for all parents, especially single moms and dads.
"I’ve hardly had a moment to myself or been able to do any work besides taking care of them. This experience has made me realize the immense work and sacrifice that all parents, particularly single mothers and fathers, make for their children. A big shout-out to all the single moms and dads out there—I just want to say: What a GREAT JOB you are doing! Loads of love always," she concluded.
On November 11, 2021, Preity and her husband Gene Goodenough welcomed their twins, a son named Jai and a daughter named Gia, through surrogacy.
In terms of her career, Preity is set to make her return to the industry with Rajkumar Santoshi's *Lahore 1947*. This project is significant for her as it marks her comeback to the silver screen after a break. Produced under Aamir Khan's banner, *Lahore 1947* features a noteworthy collaboration between Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan's Productions.
The film was officially announced last October and has attracted attention due to its star-studded cast and intriguing storyline.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi and Ali Fazal will also play pivotal roles in *Lahore 1947*, which will showcase Sunny Deol alongside his elder son, Karan Deol.
