NEW DELHI: Punjab Kings will head into Saturday’s IPL clash brimming with confidence as they take on an inconsistent Sunrisers Hyderabad side. Despite a rain-hit washout against Kolkata Knight Riders denying them a likely third straight win, PBKS have looked one of the most balanced teams this season under Shreyas Iyer.
They have impressed with both bat and ball, chasing down a 200-plus target against Chennai Super Kings and overcoming Gujarat Titans on a tricky surface. Xavier Bartlett’s impact with the ball and contributions from players like Prabhsimran Singh and Cooper Connolly underline their team-first approach.

In contrast, Sunrisers Hyderabad have struggled for consistency. Their much-feared top order, including Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, has failed to fire regularly, leading to collapses in key matches.
